TEACHER - HOME EDUCATION HUB
Previous teaching experience in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 is desirable.
The role is to work as a Teacher to a mixed age group of students of all abilities.
The Teacher will work Monday to Wednesday, term time only, in blocks of 6 weeks.
Teaching hours each day are between 9.30am – 12.50pm with a total of 3 hours of teaching.
About Oakleigh Home Education Learning Centre
Oakleigh Home Education Learning Centre, is part of the Family Hub initiative from Oakleigh Community Church. We are a not-for profit-group of Christian teachers who aim to help make home education a realistic and achievable, high quality educational alternative for all children.
Our Home Education Learning Centre offers a unique blend of high-quality academic excellence and Christian values, tailored to primary-aged learners. We have launched with a soft start this April 2025 and fully open in September of this year. We provide a rich, National Curriculum-based education in small groups of no more than 15 children, led by vastly experienced and qualified teachers and teaching assistants.
Each group of students will exceed no more than 15 with a Teacher and Teaching Assistant with the ratio of staff to student being higher than in most private schools, providing a bespoke teaching experience specifically tailored to each pupils strengths and abilities.
Academic Qualifications:
GCSE English, Maths, Science at grade C or above - essential.
A levels or further education qualifications – desirable.
Teaching Qualification – essential.

Youth Pastor
Location: Oakleigh Community Church (OCC), North London
Salary: £31,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week
Reports to: Minister and Leadership Team
Role Overview
The Youth Pastor will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and overseeing the youth ministry at Oakleigh Community Church (OCC). This role includes organising regular youth events, supporting young people’s spiritual growth, and developing a committed and enthusiastic volunteer team. The Youth Pastor will collaborate closely with the Minister, Directors, and Leadership Team to ensure a cohesive and impactful youth ministry.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in youth ministry, preferably within a church or Christian community setting.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage positively with young people and adults.
• Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop a volunteer team.
• Understanding of safeguarding practices and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in standard IT systems (Microsoft Office, email, social media platforms).

• Passionate about youth ministry and spiritual growth.
• Approachable, enthusiastic, and relationally skilled.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
