Welcome

The Family Hub is part of Oakleigh Community Church’s commitment to serving families in our local community. We believe that strong families build strong communities, and through the Family Hub, we aim to provide support, connection, and opportunities for growth for families of all shapes and sizes. Whether you're seeking a safe space for your child to play, looking for educational support, or in need of a contact centre for family connections, the Family Hub is here to help.

Our vision is to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where families can thrive. With a range of initiatives designed to meet the diverse needs of our community, we invite you to explore the ways the Family Hub can serve you and your family.

Oakleigh Contact Centre -
Launching Spring 2025

The Contact Centre is a vital service offering a safe, neutral, and welcoming space for parents to connect with their birth children, after children have entered into care. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to being Family Hub - a light in our community, meeting practical needs, and reflecting God’s heart for restoration and reconciliation. Contact Centre is staffed by trained and compassionate staff and volunteers who have undergone an accreditation process with NACC. We ensure everyone feels at ease, and are here to facilitate positive interactions and strengthen family bonds.

At Oakleigh Home Education Hub, our goal is to support families with an affordable, flexible approach to home education in a nurturing, faith-centred environment. We offer tailor made small group tuition with our curriculum covering English, Maths, Science and topic based work, providing families with the option to choose single core subject tuition if preferred. Each morning, the whole family is welcome to join our spiritual formation assemblies, creating a meaningful start to the day with reflection and connection. In addition we also offer a comfortable work space for parents who may wish to stay on site, and work remotely. Our fees start at just £15 per hour, with bespoke packages available to suit various schedules and preferences. Head over to our website for more info by clicking here.

Little Oaks - Parents & Toddlers

Little Oaks is our vibrant parent and toddler group, running every Tuesday morning from 10am. This is a wonderful space for parents, carers, and their little ones to connect, play, and grow together. Our dedicated team of volunteers creates a warm and lively atmosphere, complete with engaging activities, toys, and opportunities for friendship. Whether you're new to the area or simply looking for a place to share the parenting journey, Little Oaks is the perfect place to belong. Please note, we recommend coming early to avoid disappointment, as often we reach maximum capacity for our building.
